With gratitude

Made by many hands.

Travel Music Network is the work of photographers we'll never meet, curators in cities we haven't visited, and three communities — travelers, musicians, and venues — who keep the music in motion. This is who we thank.

City photography

Every city image on this site was made by someone who knows that city better than we do. Click through to their portfolios — most of them give their work away because they love it.

The curator team

Every TMN city is mapped by people who actually live there. The curator team picks the venues, the weekly shows, the playlist tracklists, and the corners of each scene most travelers never find. They are why TMN reads like a city, not a brochure.

Today the team is small and growing. As we open new cities, we recruit working musicians, venue staff, and music journalists who know their scene from the inside. If that's you — we'd love to hear from you.

The community

Travel Music Network isn't built for an audience. It's built with one. Three communities make the platform real every day — and we owe everything to them.

Travelers

To the people who pick a city for the music. Who fly somewhere because of a band, a festival, or a venue they've only heard about. Who'd rather sit at the bar at a working honky-tonk than queue for the tourist photo. You're the reason this platform exists, and the reason it has to stay honest.

Musicians

To the working artists in every TMN city — the ones playing five nights a week, building a touring fanbase one room at a time, songwriting between shifts, mentoring the next generation. Your music IS the city we're mapping. Without you, there's nothing to hear and nowhere worth going.

Venues

To the rooms that keep the lights on — the dive bars, the listening rooms, the brewery patios, the historic theaters, the under-the-radar lofts. You take the risk. You book the unknown act. You give a city its acoustic shape. We're trying to send people to your door who'll actually listen.
